Introduction
The school is a voluntary controlled Church of England mixed infant and junior day school, catering for children aged between 4 and 11. As a voluntary church school we encourage Christian fellowship with the emphasis on the creation and maintenance of a caring community, whilst encouraging sensitivity towards other faiths. The school is a friendly place with a very special atmosphere and good academic standards. The new school building was opened in May 2002. It offers modern eco-friendly accommodation for the staff and children comprising five classrooms, 3 smaller 'study' rooms, large hall, kitchen, library and music room, together with staff and administration areas. Outside the reception and year 1 children enjoy their own play area, there is a large playground with netball court and large playing field, all classrooms also have the benefit of an outside teaching area.
